On August 6:

● At 8:25 p.m., Officers were called to a report of a suspicious vehicle at a business in the 400 block of 8th Street. Investigation led to the arrest of Akia D. Rutledge, 23, of Freeport, IL, on a charge of Misdemeanor Possession of an Illegally Obtained Prescription. Rutledge was released pending a court appearance.

On August 11:

● At 10:39 a.m., officers arrested Jamie L. Rowe, 40, of Monroe, at a residence in the 2200 block of 11th Street, on charges of Knowingly Violate a Domestic Abuse Injunction and Felony Bail Jumping, due to violations of bail conditions set on prior cases. Rowe was confined at the Green County Jail pending a court appearance.

● At 7:27 p.m., Bayron Y. Caballero Talavera, 44, of Monroe, was placed under arrest for three counts of Bail Jumping following an investigation for a hit and run traffic crash that occurred in the 600 block of 22nd Ave on August 10, 2026. Caballero Talavera was additionally cited for Operating w/o a Valid License (3rd+ w/in 3yrs), Hit and Run, Failure to Notify Police of an Accident, Failure to Keep Vehicle Under Control, Operating a Motor Vehicle w/o Insurance, Negligent Operation of a Motor Vehicle and Possession of Open Intoxicants in a Motor Vehicle. Caballero Talavera posted bond and was released pending a court appearance.

On August 14:

● At 11:28 a.m., Officers stopped a vehicle for a speeding in the W6000 Block of STH 11. The driver was identified as Alexis Hernandez, 25, of Chicago, IL, and the passenger was identified as Uriel Orihurela, 25, of Mundelein, IL. Hernandez was cited for Speeding, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Mundelein was cited for Possession of Marijuana. Both subjects were served their citations and released with a court date.

● At 12:24 p.m., Officers responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of STH 69 and 6th Street. The investigation revealed a vehicle operated by Russell D. Hill, 70, of Albany, was stopped at the red light of 6th Street at STH 69 when he was rear-ended by another vehicle operated by Amy J. Kollatz, 50, of Monroe. No one was injured, there was no airbag deployment, both subjects were wearing their seatbelts, and both vehicles were able to drive away from the scene. Kollatz was issued a citation for Auto Following too Closely and released from the scene with a court date.

On August 15:

● At 4:29 p.m, officers arrested Grayle L. Strothman, 38, of Monroe, in the 1000 block of 13th Avenue, on a warrant issued by the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. Strothman was confined in the Green County Jail.

● At 9:16 p.m., Aeden J. Lake, 22, of Monroe, was arrested on a warrant issued by the Monroe Police Department following a traffic stop in the 600 block of W. 8th Street. Lake was additionally cited for operating without a valid license and was later confined at the Green County Jail, pending a court appearance.

On August 17:

● At 1:31 a.m., Vincent J. Buholzer, 29, of Monroe, was placed under arrest for two counts of Disorderly Conduct and two counts of Battery following an investigation into an assault that occurred on 08-16-2026. Buholzer posted bond and was released with a mandatory court appearance.

● At 11:35 p.m., Officers responded to a disturbance in the 2000 block of Edgeview Drive. Investigation resulted in Barry L. Polifka, 51, of Monroe being placed under arrest for Felony Bail Jumping, Obstructing/Resisting an Officer and Battery or Threats to Law Enforcement. Polifka was confined at the Green Count Jail pending an initial court appearance.

On August 18:

● At 4:12 a.m., Officers responded to the 2500 block of 7th Street for a report of a theft. Investigation resulted in Cierra A.E. Martin, 25, of Monroe, being placed under arrest for theft. Martin was later released with a mandatory court appearance.
