To the Editor:

Dear neighbors in the 17th Senate district,

In all my years I’ve never seen so much division in politics. We need someone who can and will work across party lines while representing our best interests.

Lies, half truth, and poorly written bills with agendas snuck in that get passed, never helping us, only to serve the donors who “pay to play”.

I’ve gone to well over a hundred political meet and greets, rallies, and open forums to know when It’s just a dog and pony show and who can answer the tough questions.

I have listened to the candidates for the 17th Senate district and one stands out far ahead of the other two, and that’s Corrine Hendrickson. She is the candidate with integrity and honesty through and through.

She ticks all the boxes we need in a candidate. When asked about a recent bill that was signed, she was interviewed and asked to sum it up. She had absolutely no problem understanding the nuances, broke it down, and explained it. Not something either of the other candidates did.

If you go to her social media FB page, just listen to her. She’s not “acting” or “selling” snake oil, she speaks for all of us.

Don’t tell the people what’s wrong and “you’re going to fix it”. We need to hear how, with clear definitions and Corrine is the only one who has explained exactly the path that needs to be taken.

Education, experience in the real world, and common sense understanding of this broken system is why we need Corrine for 17.
