Monroe Police

MONROE - On Thursday, April 3:

• Maria Santes Gomez-Bartolo, 30, Monroe, was transported to Monroe Clinic hospital for non-life-threatening injuries following a hit-and-run crash on Wisconsin 69 and 17th Street. Gomez-Bartolo was cited at 6:13 a.m. for failing to yield from a stop sign, no valid driver's license and hit-and-run after her vehicle hit a vehicle driven by a 57-year-old man from Monroe. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage.

• No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle accident on North 18th Avenue and the Wis. 11 off-ramp. Michael L. Thole, 44, Bellville, hit a vehicle driven by a 68-year-old woman from Winslow, Ill. Thole was cited at 3:38 p.m. for failure to yield right-of-way from a stop sign.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Wilson G. Bear, 67, Monroe, was uninjured in a two-vehicle accident at the Monroe Police Department Parking lot off of 12th Street at 1:24 p.m. Bear was pulling into a parking spot when the vehicle he was driving jumped the curb and hit a legally parked vehicle owned by The Monroe Police Department. Both vehicles sustained moderate damage and were driven from the scene.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - Kurt C. Rolle, 75, Belmont, was uninjured after a deer hit his vehicle on Jericho Road, Belmont Township. The vehicle sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene.
