Monroe Police

MONROE - On Friday:

• Amanda K. Meighan, 22, Monroe, was arrested at 2:37 a.m. for driving while intoxicated, second offense, driving after suspension, third offense, and failure to maintain control of a vehicle after Meighan lost control of her vehicle in a curve in the 2900 block of 11th Avenue and hit a utility pole. She was released pending court.

• Earl D. Wilson, 25, Monroe, was arrested at 3:14 p.m. in the 400 block of 14th Avenue on a Rock County Sheriff's Office warrant. Wilson was jailed pending court.

• Andrew L. Conley, 51, Monroe, was arrested at 12:53 a.m. Saturday for driving while intoxicated, third offense, after police stopped his vehicle in the 2500 block of 13th Street. Conley was unable to post the cash bond and was jailed pending court.

• Daniel R. Creviston, 25, Rockford, was arrested at 1:11 a.m. Sunday for driving while intoxicated after police stopped the vehicle on 17th Street/Wisconsin 69. Creviston was released pending court.



Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Eric Thomas Mangone, 36, Madison, was stopped for speeding and subsequently arrested at 8:04 p.m. Saturday for felony possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a Schedule III narcotic and possession of a non-narcotic prescription drug on Wisconsin 69 at Spring Valley Road, Town of New Glarus. Mangone was also cited for speeding, driving with a suspended license, third offense, and driving without insurance. Mangone was jailed pending court. K-9 unit Ike assisted at the scene.



Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - On Friday:

• A deputy responded to a report of a suspicious person on County M, Wiota Township, at 5:13 p.m. The individual was not located.

• Kurt A. Homerding, 45, Monroe, was cited at 9:57 p.m. for driving while intoxicated and open intoxicants in a vehicle following a traffic stop on Wisconsin 11, Village of Gratiot.

• A deputy responded at 10:14 p.m. to a report of livestock on the roadway on Holland Road, Seymour Township.

On Saturday:

• A deputy investigated a complaint of criminal damage to property at 7:57 a.m. on County F, Township of Blanchardville.

• A deputy responded to a report of suspicious activity on County H, Township of Benton, at 3:35 p.m.

On Sunday:

• Deputies responded to a domestic dispute at 12:33 a.m. at a residence on West Moundview Avenue, Village of Belmont.

• A deputy was dispatched at 9:26 a.m. to the Grant County/Lafayette County line to transport Ronald Henry Jr., Platteville, on a valid warrant issued through Lafayette County. Henry remains jailed pending court.



Darlington Police

DARLINGTON - Gustavo Mendez-Gonzalez, 50, Darlington, was arrested at 2:54 a.m. Sunday for driving while intoxicated, second offense, and driving without a valid license, second offense, after a traffic stop on Wells Street. Mendez-Gonzalez was also cited for driving without insurance.



New Glarus Police

NEW GLARUS - On Monday, Sept. 22:

• Police assisted Green County deputies with a bicycle accident on County CC at Fahey Road at 1:30 p.m.

• Police responded to a report of suspicious activity at 5:07 p.m. in the 300 block of Heidi Court. It was reported that a person keeps removing property from a residence while the complainant is home. The case was determined to be unfounded.

On Tuesday:

• Police investigated a report of theft of a mini gas-powered motorcycle from the 500 block of 14th Avenue at 9:13 a.m. The incident remains under investigation.

• Police were dispatched at 5:32 p.m. to the 300 block of 2nd Street to meet with a person who had questions about unwanted text messages from a stranger.

On Wednesday:

• Police responded to a report of chickens in the backyard of a resident in the 300 block of 8th Street at 3:40 p.m. An investigation continues.

• Police met with a person who had questions about unwanted messages from a stranger on Facebook at 11:37 p.m. in the 500 block of 8th Street.

• Police assisted Green County deputies with a suspected medication overdose on County H. Police assessed the situation and turned over all information to deputies for further investigation.
