MONROE - A status conference has been set for a Monroe man charged with four felony counts of Medicaid fraud.
Anthony R. Anglin, 28, Monroe, appeared in Green County Circuit Court Monday for an initial appearance before Judge Thomas Vale. He was represented by defense lawyer Joseph Pecora.
Wisconsin Assistant Attorney General Jeffrey Gabrysiak, who is prosecuting the case, appeared for the state.
A criminal complaint alleges Anglin knowingly made false statements in support of claims for payment for Medicaid reimbursement relating to transportation services for four patients through Anglin's business, Anglin Transport Services, Inc.
Those claims totaled more than $111,000, according to the complaint, filed in Green County Circuit Court on May 31.
No pleas were entered on the four Medicaid fraud charges, all class H felonies, but a signature bond was set for $5,000.
A status conference is set for 1:15 p.m. Aug. 23.
