MONROE — On March 31:

●  At approximately 7:40AM, Deputies responded to the N1600 block of County Highway T, Town of Spring Grove, for a report of a single vehicle accident. The driver was identified as Yvette A Smith, 43, of Brodhead. Smith reported she was northbound on County Highway T when she lost control of the vehicle on the snow/ice covered roadway and entered the West ditch, striking a culvert. Smith reported no injuries, reported wearing her seatbelt, and airbags deployed within the vehicle. Smith’s three juvenile passengers reported no injuries and reported wearing their seatbelts. Smith’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

●  At approximately 7:47AM, Deputies responded to the W4100 block of County Highway C, Town of Mt. Pleasant, for a report of a single vehicle accident. The driver was identified as Amy G Silver, 27, of Monticello. Silver reported driving East on County Highway C when she lost control of her vehicle on the snow/ice covered roadway. Silver’s vehicle struck a culvert. Silver reported no injuries, reported wearing her seatbelt, and no airbag deployment. Silver’s vehicle sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.
