EVANSVILLE/ALBANY - Kenneth Doyle Brown Jr. age 60 died Wednesday May 20, 2015 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on September 6, 1954 in Aurora Illinois the son of Kenneth and Joanne (Brunner) Brown Sr. He was employed at BlueScope Buildings in Evansville for forty two years retiring due to health reasons. He enjoyed music, playing guitars, was a member of two bands, "Gunner and Whiskey Dan", and cooperated a D.J. business. He liked to go fishing, play computer games, enjoyed astronomy and the outdoors. He is survived by his fiancee' Brenda Keepers of Albany, his children; Brian (Amanda) Brown of Evansville, Sarah (Randy Ciszewski) Keepers of Wisconsin Rapids, Justin Keepers of Vesper, Shaliko (Jason Johnson) Keepers of Albany, two grandchildren; Killian Brown and Sequoia Van Fossen, a sister; Diana (Dale) Harnack of Brodhead, two brothers; Daniel (Julie) Brown of Brodhead, Michael Brown of Oregon, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday May 26, 2015 at Ward-Hurtley Funeral Home Evansville with Reverend Pat Soddy officiating. Burial will follow in Hill Crest Cemetery Albany. A visitation will be held from 9:30 am until the time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
