WARREN - June A. Herbig, 74 of Warren passed away on Friday, May 8, 2015 at the University of Wisconsin Hospital in Madison, surrounded by her family. June was born June 28, 1940 in Monroe, Wisconsin the daughter of William and Ruth (Jensen) Schindler. June was married to Gary Herbig on July 9, 1965 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Warren, IL. June was employed by Micro Switch MFG for many years in Freeport and Warren plants. She loved spending time with her family and grandchildren, painting ceramics and gardening.
June is survived by her husband Gary, one daughter Connie (Alan) Briggs and one son Mark Herbig all of Warren, IL. Two-grandchildren Erica (Nathan) Schumaker of Holmen, WI. And Kayla Briggs of Rochester, MN. Two-brothers LaVerne Schindler of Orangeville, IL and Dennis (Lonii) Schindler of Rockford, IL one sister In-law Rita Schindler of Browntown, WI, many nieces and nephews also survive.
June was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers Billy Schindler and Roger Schindler, one sister in-law Anita Schindler.
Memorial Services will be held at 3:00 pm, on Thursday, May14, 2015, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Warren, IL.
Visitation will be from 1:30 pm until time of service at the church.
Rev. Art Stees will officiate at the services.
Cremation rites were accorded and burial will be at a later date.
