Monroe Police

MONROE — Officers were investigating a vehicle in the ditch in the 1600 block of 31st Avenue at 8:21 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, when dispatch informed the officers that one of the vehicle occupants, Michael J. Muenchow, 31, Beloit, had a warrant through the Beloit Police Department for failure to pay a fine on a citation for possession of drug paraphernalia. He was arrested, booked and released after posting his bond.

On Sunday, Jan. 20:

●  Police were called to check the welfare of two people in a parked car in the 2200 block of 2nd Avenue at 2:07 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 20. The passenger, Karessa J. Patterson, 35, Monroe, was found to have been drinking alcohol, in violation of her court-ordered bond conditions in a prior case. She was arrested and jailed pending bond or court. The man sitting in the driver’s seat, Phillip A. Boyd, 26, Monroe, had also been drinking. Police advised him not to drive the car. However, at 3:20 a.m., Boyd showed up smelling of alcohol at the Green County Jail to post bond for Patterson. When police inquired if he drove to the jail, he reportedly admitted that he had. He was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while intoxicated and jailed until he could be released to a responsible person or until the required legal time period for holding him had passed.


Green County Sheriff

MONROE — Deputies responded to the Green County Probation and Parole Office in Monroe at 12:58 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, and arrested Kyle R. Neuenschwander, 25, New Glarus, on a probation hold from the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. He was jailed.

●  Cody M. Fuchs, 24, Freeport, was arrested on a drug-related, first-offense charge of operating while intoxicated at 5:53 a.m. Friday, Jan. 18, in the N3500 block of Wis. 69, Town of Monroe. He was also cited for speeding and possession of THC. He was released pending court.

●  Brandon J. McCarten, 49, Monroe, was arrested on a first-offense charge of operating while intoxicated in the N3400 block of Wis. 81, Town of Monroe, at 8:10 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20. He was also cited for operating with a prohibited blood-alcohol concentration (first offense). He was released to a responsible party.
