ARGYLE — The Erickson Conservation Area, located at the edge of Legion Park in Argyle, is a nature preserve along the Pecatonica River that is managed by Driftless Area Land Conservancy.

During spring migration, it’s bursting with bird life. From 7-9 a.m. on Saturday, May 18, the public can join seasoned birders Charles Harmon and Barb Barzen to hike wetlands and prairies in search of pelicans, waterfowl, grassland birds, warblers, and much more.

Beginner to advanced birders are welcome.
