On July 9:

● At 7:24 p.m., officers were called to a two-vehicle accident with no reported injuries in the 800 block of State Highway 69. An investigation indicated that a vehicle operated by Robert D. Munda, 57, Freeport, IL, was eastbound on 8th Street, turned south onto State Highway 69, merged into an adjacent lane and collided with another southbound vehicle operated by an 18 year old Monroe woman. Both vehicles sustained minor damage. Munda was cited for unsafe lane deviation, and was released pending a court appearance.
