Area players participate in WFCA All-Star Games

The Wisconsin Football Coaches Association held three all-star football games on Friday, July 17 and Saturday, July 18 at Titian Stadium at UW-Oshkosh.

The 8-player all star game was played on Friday, July 17 and featured three players from the Ridge & Valley-8 Conference. All three players were from the Belmont Braves and included fullback Tyler Kisamore, wide receiver Cody Kletecka, and offensive lineman Trenton Paulson. The South beat the North 22-18 in the 8-player all-star game.

The small school all-star game was held on Saturday, July 18. Members of the small school south roster included Luke Burton and Will Pinnow of New Glarus, Cooper Nemec of Belleville, Bryce VanRaalte of Black Hawk-Warren, and Blaze White of Darlington. The North defeated the South 41-0.

The large school all-star game was also played on Saturday, and one area player played for the South squad: offensive lineman Peyton Herbst of the Monroe Cheesemakers. The South won the game, 24-17.

The WFCA All-Star games are a fundraiser for Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin. Coaches and players raised more that $380,000 from this year’s games.
