Isabella Brunton is the recipient of the 2026 William C. and Margaret L. Parmer Scholarship. In the thirteen years since inception, the Scholarship has awarded $60,000 to medical students.

The recipient must be from Green County and have been accepted or enrolled in an accredited Medical School. Margaret’s husband, William, passed away in 2005 and this was something they had often talked about doing. It is a wonderful experience for Margaret to see her vision come true and meet the recipients each year.

Brunton is a 2022 graduate of Monroe High School and is in her first year at Baptist College of Osteopathic Medicine in Memphis, Tennessee. Isabella’s career goal is to be in a hospital/community, with an interest in Pediatrics or Family Practice.
