● 1:59 p.m. A deputy responded to Larson RD, Wiota Township for keep the peace.

On September 12:

● 2:34 a.m. Bruce M Austin, 67, Cuba City reported striking a deer on Knee Deep RD, Benton Township. No injuries were reported and Austin’s 2017 Mitsubishi was driven from the scene with moderate damage.

● 7:44 a.m. Aric C Barnard, 44, Darlington reported striking a deer on STH 81, Lamont Township. No injuries were reported and Barnard’s 2024 Kia was driven from the scene with moderate damage.

● 9:20 a.m. A deputy responded to CTH W, Benton Township for property damage.

● 9:51 a.m. A deputy responded to Whaley RD, Benton Township for a civil dispute.

● 4:48 p.m. A deputy responded to S Wyota ST in the Village of South Wayne for keep the peace.

● 10:02 p.m. Deputies responded to W Center ST in the Village of South Wayne for check welfare. Peter J Knutson, 45, Monroe was arrested for a Probation Violation and brought to the Lafayette County Jail where he remains in custody.

On September 13:

● 8:26 a.m. A deputy responded to Kingsley RD, Gratiot Township for suspicious activity.

● 7:46 p.m. A deputy assisted Shullsburg Police on S Galena ST in the City with suspicious activity.

● 7:54 p.m. Kayleena E. Schauff, 24, Fennimore reported striking a deer on CTH G, Belmont Township. Schauff reported no injuries. Schauff’s 2016 Chevrolet received functional damage and was driven from the scene.

On September 14:

● 10:15 a.m. A deputy responded to W Grove ST, Village of South Wayne for a civil dispute. 

● 12:12 p.m. A deputy responded to CTH O, Shullsburg Township for criminal damage. 

● 4:52 p.m. James R. Golden, 36, Elmwood was cited for Operating a UTV while Intoxicated (1st Offense), Refusal of Chemical Test, and Operating a UTV on a Highway on STH 11, Shullsburg Township. Nathaniel R. Ford, 35, Princeville was also cited for Operating a UTV on a Highway. 

● 8:28 p.m. Trevin J. Ladow, 16, Gratiot was traveling on STH 11, Gratiot Township when an oncoming vehicle crossed the centerline and struck the drive side of Ladow’s vehicle and then left the scene. Ladow reported no injuries. Ladow’s 2010 Chevrolet received functional damage and was driven from the scene. 

● 11:09 p.m. Deputies responded to Lake RD, Fayette Township for a disorderly dispute. 

On September 15:

● 7:43 a.m. A deputy responded to a one vehicle accident on STH 11, Gratiot Township. 

● 1:16 p.m. Darlington Fire and Lafayette County EMS responded to CTH F, Willow Springs Township for a vehicle fire. A deputy and Darlington Police assisted.

● 4:45 p.m. Kevin W. Phillips, 65, Madison reported striking a deer on Cannon RD, Fayette Township. Phillips reported no injuries. Phillips’ 2016 Dodge received functional damage and was driven from the scene.
