On January 30:

● 5:11 p.m. Platteville Fire and Southwest Health EMS responded to W Mound RD, Belmont Township for a grass fire.

● 5:37 p.m. Benton Fire and First Response responded to Shawnee RD, New Diggings Township for a fire.

● 5:58 p.m. Jason B. Biddick, 53, Livingston reported striking a deer on CTH G, Belmont Township. Biddick reported no injuries. Biddicks’ 2019 Ford received functional damage and was driven from the scene.

On January 31:

● 6:30 a.m. Deputies responded to CTH G, Willow Springs Township for a one vehicle accident. Blake A Wedig, 35, Belmont lost control of his vehicle, left the roadway, and came to a rest in the river. No injuries were reported. Wedig’s truck received disabling damage and was towed from the scene. Darlington Fire, Lafayette County EMS, and Darlington Police assisted on scene.

● 6:54 p.m. Matthew Olson, 63, Monroe reported striking a deer on CTH F, Fayette Township. No injuries were reported. Olson’s 2006 Jeep received moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

On February 1:

● 9:00 p.m. Derrick P Nipple, 36, Belleville reported striking a deer on STH 11, Wayne Township. No injuries were reported. Nipple’s 2018 Kia received minor damage and was driven from the scene.

On February 2:

● 9:25 a.m. A deputy responded to S Main ST, Village of Blanchardville for a disorderly dispute.

● 1:04 p.m. A deputy responded to E Milwaukee ST, Village of Argyle for a complaint of custodial interference.

On February 3:

● 7:00 p.m. John P. Foley, 57, Belmont was traveling on CTH I, New Diggings Township when he lost control of his vehicle and entered the ditch. Foley reported no injuries. Foley’s 2010 Chevrolet received functional damage and was driven from the scene.

On February 5:

● 2:39 p.m. Bradley D Lincoln, 62, Argyle reported striking a deer on STH 78, Argyle Township. No injuries were reported. Lincoln’s 2007 Chrysler received minor damage and was driven from the scene. 

● 9:03 p.m. A deputy responded to Blake ST, Village of Blanchardville for a two-vehicle accident. Ryan D. Harris, 17, Blanchardville lost control of his 2013 Honda and struck a parked 2012 Mazda. Ryan and his passenger reported no injuries. Both vehicles received moderate damage. Blanchardville Fire and Blanchardville EMS assisted on scene.

On February 6:

● 2:41 a.m. A deputy responded to CTH D, Wayne Township for a one vehicle accident. Jeffery L. Brink-meier, 60, Stockton, IL reported that he slid off the roadway and struck a pole in the ditch. No injuries reported. Brinkmeier’s 2005 Jeep received disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

● 7:07 p.m. Deputies responded to Grant ST, Village of Argyle for a wanted person. As a result, Kristian B. Rynes, 23, Argyle was arrested for a valid Probation and Parole Warrant. Rynes was transported to the Lafayette County Jail where he currently remains.

On February 7:

● 5:43 a.m. Riley R. Runden, 23, Gratiot reported striking a deer on STH 11, Wayne Township. Runden reported no injuries. Runden’s 2022 Jeep received functional damage and was driven from the scene.  

● 7:06 a.m. Kristin L. Galle, 39, Belmont reported striking a deer on CTH G, Belmont Township. Galle reported no injuries. Galle’s 2021 Lincoln received functional damage and was driven from the scene.

● 6:08 p.m. Wayne F. Sweeney, 72, Juda reported striking a deer on CTH G, Argyle Township. Sweeney reported no injuries. Sweeney’s 2022 Chevrolet received functional damage and was driven from the scene.

● 7:03 p.m. Michael L. Kastner, 52, Belmont was cited for Speeding, Operating after Suspension (OAS), and No Insurance on STH 81, Elk Grove Township.
