Three special Albany alumni honored

ALBANY — The Albany Alumni Association honored three special alumni at the Alumni Banquet held May 27 at the Albany Lions Club. 

Ken Kittlesen, who will be 100 years old in a month, and Eileen Zurfluh who is 100, the oldest living alumni, from the class of 1941. They have been out of school for 82 years. On the right is Ray Laughridge from the Class of 1943. He is the only one left in his class and graduated 80 years ago.


Albany Alumni Banquet

ALBANY — Albany High School seniors Elizabeth Halverson, Camden Pryce, McKenzie Briggs, Raj Flannery, Gracie Freitag, Gage Roth, Linsey Mueller and McKenna Broughton each received a $1,000 Scholarship from the Alumni Association held May 27 at the Albany Lions Club. 

Since the Alumni Association became active 20 years ago, $103,000 in scholarships have been awarded.
