MONROE - The Green County Veterans Office, along with Aster Retirement Communities and Azura Memory Care, is hosting a program for war-time veterans from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12 at the Aging and Disability Resource Centers auditorium, N3152 Wisconsin 81.

The program is free to attend and will provide information about the VA pension and aid and attendance benefits for war-time veterans and their surviving spouses. Veterans may be eligible for a monthly income assistance that could help them afford an assisted living or retirement community.

There will be a chance to ask questions once the presentation is complete with answers from Chris Beer, veteran benefit counselor, and Clayton Ruegsegger, county veterans service officer. Refreshments will be served after the program. Register by Wednesday, Nov. 7.
