The Mike Wahl Memorial Bridge was recently installed connecting the mainland to the island at Lake Montesian in Monticello. The Wahl family donated the structure. Mike Wahl and his wife were the founders of a concrete contractor and the Architectural Precast Co. Wahl died in 2021 at the age of 69. The village is continuing to take donations to finish the overall project.
