The Monticello Area Historical Society (MAHS) will meet at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 11, at the Monticello Area Historical Museum on Main Street.

After a brief business meeting, the Monticello Area Historical Society & Museum will host Fiber Spinning by Kris Riese Peterson from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Bring the kids and dip your fingers into the world of fibers. Dozens of different samples from animals and plants will be available to see and touch. Bring spinning questions for Kris to answer.

This is a free presentation and the public is welcome.
