MONROE — Award-winning jazz and ragtime band The Lovestruck Balladeers take the stage Saturday, May 9th in Monroe Arts Center’s Gunderson Stiles Concert Hall.
The Balladeers enchant audiences with a masterful blend of ragtime, jazz and beautiful songs from around the world. Born out of New York’s vibrant classic jazz and traditional music scene, The Lovestruck Balladeers formed during a series of recording sessions for Jalopy Records’ 2018 release, Estrellas de Radio.
Since their 2018 debut at The Brooklyn Folk Festival, the quintet has made a name for itself as a compelling act highlighting musical excellence, fresh arrangements, original songs and a tightly crafted stage show.
Their latest album, “Looking for You,” just dropped on CD & vinyl.
The band’s lineup includes Jake Sanders, Dennis Lichtman, Sean Cronin, Dalton Ridenhour and Mike Davis.
