Denny and Susie Speer, Blanchardville, along with Steve and Denice Nie, Jesup, IA, announce the engagement of their children, Wesley Speer and Andrea Nie.
The future groom is a 2002 graduate of Pecatonica High School in Blanchardville. He received a bachelor of science degree in athletic training from Clarke College, Dubuque, IA in 2006 and a doctorate degree in physical therapy from Clarke in May of 2008. He is currently working as a physical therapist at Monroe Clinic.
The bride-to-be is a 2003 graduate of Don Bosco High School in Gilbertville, IA. She received a bachelor of science degree in nursing from Clarke College in 2007 and is now a registered nurse at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison.
An August 2nd wedding is planned at Immaculate Conception Church in Gilbertville, IA with a reception and dance to follow in Waterloo, IA. The couple will reside in New Glarus.
