BRODHEAD — Join the Green County Aging and Disability Resource Center, Better Brodhead and Green County Public Health for the Green County Wellness Day on from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, July 27 at Brodhead High School, 2501 5th Ave W, Brodhead, WI 53520.
The theme of the Green County Wellness Day is, “Make Yourself a Priority,” meant to highlight the importance of taking care of your health.
This free event will feature activities for people of all ages. Over 15 local community organizations will be present to talk with community members about the programs and services they have to offer.
The Brodhead Police Department will be accepting any old, expired, or unused medications as a part of their Drug-Take-Back program.
The Brodhead Lion’s Club will be accepting any old or unused frames, as part of their Recycle for Sight, eyeglasses donation program.
There will also be health screenings, as well as therapy animals. Community members can also participate in a variety of games, activities, and enter to win some door prizes.
Transportation assistance to this event is available by calling the ADRC at 608-328-9499. Reservations for transportation assistance are required by Friday, July 26.
