NEW GLARUS — The New Glarus School District recognized New Glarus High School student Cassie Schultz for outstanding participation at the FCCLA State Leadership Conference held in Wisconsin Dells.
Cassie represented New Glarus in the Culinary Foundations Test Level 2 event, earning an impressive High Silver Medal for her performance. Her achievement highlights her strong culinary knowledge, preparation, and commitment to excellence in Family and Consumer Sciences education.
In addition to competing, Cassie served as the New Glarus FCCLA chapter’s Voting Delegate, playing an important leadership role in the conference. As a delegate, she helped make key decisions on bylaw changes and participated in selecting the new State Leadership Council, contributing to the future direction of FCCLA in Wisconsin.
Throughout the conference, Cassie also participated in a variety of breakout sessions led by industry professionals and fellow FCCLA members, gaining valuable leadership skills, career insights, and networking opportunities.
“We are incredibly proud of Cassie for her leadership, dedication, and accomplishments at the FCCLA State Leadership Conference,” said FCCLA advisor Ryan Lehman. “She represented New Glarus with professionalism and pride, and her efforts reflect the strong opportunities available to students through FCCLA.”
