BRODHEAD — Bill Bassett, engineering manager of Kuhn North America, was presented with a Patriot Award Aug. 9 by Chris Campbell, public affairs director with Wisconsin Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve in recognition of extraordinary support of his employee serving in the Army Reserve.

Bassett was nominated for being highly supportive of their military employee, Specialist Karl Shepard, a member of the Army Reserve. 

The Patriot Award was created by ESGR to publicly recognize individuals who provide outstanding patriotic support and cooperation to their employees, who like the citizen warriors before them, have answered their nation’s call to serve.
