JANESVILLE - Green-Rock Audubon Society will present a program that includes looking at wildflowers for backyard gardens in Wisconsin, at 7 p.m. Tuesday at First Congregational UCC, 54 S Jackson St. Dave Bendlin, retired biology teacher from Milton High School, will show slides of wildflowers taken on his trip to the Smoky Mountains and suggest native plantings for local gardens. The presentation will also identify flowers that are especially attractive to birds, bees, butterflies and other pollinators. The free program is open to the public.
Audubon program set for Tuesday
