A residential facility that’s in progress in New Glarus called Home Of Our Own recently received a $10,000 grant from ARC of Green County through its LEO fund. 

HOOO is an organization that formed and is now building a facility to provide housing for people with disabilities. Ground has broken and construction has started near New Glarus on Elmer Road. A planned 40-unit apartment will have 10 units dedicated to those with disabilities along with two- and three-bedroom apartments. The facility will also feature walking paths, raised garden beds, roof top decks, community rooms and an exercise room. 

The property is located adjacent to the Sugar River and is within walking distance to town.
