Richard and Mary (Klassy) Wichser will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a family cookout on Aug. 18. 

Richard “Dick” and Mary married at St. Victor’s Catholic Church on Aug. 11, 1959.

Richard is retired from Dana Corp. in Roscoe, Illinois, where he was a welder/assembler. Mary was a customer service officer at the Bank of Brodhead and is also retired.

They have one daughter, Marcia (Dale) Peterson and one son Dan (CJ) Wichser, all of Orfordville. Their grandchildren are Jarod (Casey) Wichser, Jordan Wichser and Jamie (Jenna) Wichser, Derek Johnson, Travis Peterson and Derek Peterson. They have two great-grandsons, Daniel Wichser and Palmer Wichser.
