Myron and Marieta Smith, Monroe, renewed their wedding vows and celebrated their 25th anniversary with family and friends at the Little Brown Church in the Vale, Nashua, Iowa, July 9, 2011. Myron and Marieta were united in marriage Jan. 13, 1986 in Dubuque, Iowa.
Their daughter Colinda, Chicago, gave her mother's hand during the ceremony, and great-grandson Brayden Rieff, St. Louis, was the ring bearer.
The ceremony was followed by a reception at the church and dinner with family and friends, including children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a sister, and a brother-in-law from Chicago, St. Louis, Tennessee, Iowa, and Wisconsin.
