Richard and Barbara (Schindler) Cornwell, Evansville, were married in Monroe on Feb. 24, 1962.

Richard is retired from General Motors and Barbara is retired as an insurance assistant in Evansville. They celebrated their 50th anniversary with their children Sheri, Kelly, James and Brenda and grandchildren Zachary, Samantha, Nicholas and Sydney.
