ALBANY - Albertson Memorial Library is offering programs specifically for homeschool students and their families this year.

The first two programs are in February. In them, students will learn how the Albany library is organized, where and how to locate materials of interest and how to request and order materials from other libraries. They also will hear about new and noteworthy books for young readers.

Later this spring, the library will provide Lego Mindstorms kits for building and programming Lego robots; provide a trained music instructor to teach students about music appreciation; and offer a poetry activity.

For more information about the new homeschool enrichment programming, to view upcoming events and a brochure and to register for events at Albertson Memorial Library, visit www.albertsonlibrary.org/homeschool-enrichment-activities.
