MONROE — The Monroe Wrestling Club (MWC) showed off their skills at multiple youth wrestling tournaments this weekend.

Jakobie Liphart placed first in the Hawk Wrestling Club Invite in Oregon, Illinois on Saturday, Jan. 6.

Also on Saturday, Jan. 6, six MWC wrestlers competed at the Oregon Youth Tourney.

Trace Rowe (10u, 90-95) 1st place; Samuel Queen (12u, 64-68) 3rd place; Jaxon Gobeli (12u, 95-104) 4th place; Weston Huntsman (14u, 119-129) 1st place; Oliver Helland (14u, 146-155) 4th place; and Patrick Harms (14u, 147-160) 1st place.

On Sunday, Jan. 7, 12 MWC wrestlers fought hard at the Battle for the Badger in Waunakee.
