Blanchardville 15, Muscoda 0

Austin Enloe pitched a three-hit shutout and Dakota Doescher hit a home run in the third inning to lead the Blanchardville Bullets to a 15-0 win over the Muscoda Mudcats in Home Talent League baseball Western Section Sunday League action on Saturday, July 4.

The Bullets scored nine runs in the fourth inning when they sent 14 batters to the plate. Hunter Enloe went 3x3 with three runs scored and three RBIs. Ashton McNett, Brooks Chandler, Dakota Doescher, and Peter Gustafson each hit a double for Blanchardville.

The Bullets improved to 7-2 with the win.

Shullsburg/Benton Fever 7, Belleville Raiders 6

Eli Blaine’s bases-loaded walk scored Tommy Behrens from third base in the bottom of the ninth inning as the Shullsburg/Benton Fever got a walk-off win 9-8 over the Belleville Raiders in Home Talent League baseball on Saturday, July 4.

Paul Meyer hit a pair of doubles and drove in two runs for the Belleville Raiders.

Mason Smith and Thomas Fox each hit a double for Shullsburg/Benton. Jake Zeal drove in two runs for the Fever.

Shullsburg/Benton improved to 4-8 with the win. Belleville slipped to 5-4.

Belleville Raiders 8, Blanchardville Bullets 4

The Belleville Raiders scored seven of their eight runs over the fourth, fifth, and sixth innings on their way to an 8-4 win over the Blanchardville Bullets in Home Talent League baseball played on Sunday, July 5 at Belleville.

Davis Halbleib went 4x5 and had four RBIs for Belleville. Steffen Mello hit a two-run homer in the fourth inning for Belleville.

Peter Gustafson hit a double and drove in a run for the Bullets.

Blanchardville dropped to 7-3 with the loss.

Shullsburg/Benton Fever 9, Wiota Indians 9

The Wiota Indians staged a furious rally in the ninth inning after tailing 9-0, but fell just short in a 9-8 loss to the Shullsburg/Benton Fever on Sunday, July 5 in Western Section Home Talent League baseball action.

The Indians had the tying run at second base in the ninth inning, but Reagan Jackson struck out looking to end the game.

Breylin Goebel drove in two runs for Wiota. Justin Crotty was 2x3 with a double and an RBI for the Fever.

With the loss, Wiota fell to 5-5 in Sunday League action. Shullsburg/Benton improved to 4-6.

Hollandale Rockies 10, Argyle Beavers 0

Both teams are tied at 4-5 in the Sunday League after Hollandale’s win over Argyle on Sunday, July 5.
