Lisa Clason (nee Radke)
Lisa Clason (nee Radke)

July 3, 1966 - August 29, 2026

Lisa L. Clason, age 60, of Sun Prairie, was called to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 29, 2026, at home with her family by her side. She was born in Monroe on July 3, 1966, the daughter of Wallace and Ruby (Yarnall) Radke. Lisa was a 1984 graduate of Monroe High School and attended UW Whitewater. Throughout her childhood and high school years, Lisa enjoyed ballet, tap & jazz dance. She loved dancing any time and would be the first one out on the dance floor at any event.

Lisa married Robert "Bob" A. Clason and began their life together on February 4, 1989, at St. John's Church in Monroe. She gained notoriety as a proud consultant for Mary Kay Cosmetics for over 40 years and had also worked for Vera's House of Bridals for nearly 25 years. Those two careers blended beautifully together. For relaxation time, Lisa could usually be found enjoying fishing vacations with Bob, especially with her parents, at their lake home in Webster, WI.

Lisa was a devout Christian and an ordained Minister. She founded her own ministry called "Helping Hands". Her work was helping those in need and spreading the word of the Bible to everyone she met. The "Helping Hands Ministry" motto, "It's better to give a hand up, than a hand out" was how she lived her life. With great joy she was a member of R-Church, Madison WI. Lisa loved her family deeply, and showed her husband, Bob, how families should love one another.

Lisa is survived by her husband, Bob; 4 siblings: Angie (Joe) Foss of Bettendorf, IA, Chuck (Luann) Radke of Monroe, Mona (Brad) Wedig of Rockton, IL and Brent (Nancy) Radke of Mount Horeb; brother-in-law, Kelly (Jemima Goodwin) Clason of Bedford, TX; sister-in-law, Laurie Petri of Marshfield; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; infant son, Matthew; mother and father-in-law, Woody and Judy Clason; and brother-in-law, Jody Clason. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at APFEL EHLERT FUNERAL HOME, 315 Lord St. (Hwy 51) Edgerton with a luncheon to follow. Burial will be at Sun Prairie Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at APFEL EHLERT FUNERAL HOME, and again on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Saying their name doesn't "bring it all back." It brings them back.

And for a moment, they are here again. In our stories, in our laughter, and in our tears.

Because grief doesn't get the final word. Love does.

And love, when spoken aloud, has a heartbeat.
