MONROE — The Wisconsin Fastpitch Softball Coaches Association recently released its rosters for the 2024 Senior All-Star Games. Five local players made the list.
This year’s event will take place on Tuesday, June 11 at the Woodside Sports Complex in the Wisconsin Dells.
Selected athletes must raise a minimum of $400 that will go back to Special Olympics Wisconsin. Those that would like to donate can do so in varying amounts. A booster ($1-24) will get a listing on the website; a sponsor ($25-99) will have a listing on the website and in the program; an advertiser ($100 and up) will get an advertisement on the website and listing in the program.
Juda-Albany has three selections in shortstop Alana Durtschi, pitcher Avary Briggs and catcher Myah Johnson. All three will be members of the Division 4/5 Blue team.
Brodhead has two selections in shortstop Sophia Leitzen and outfielder Jaelyn Hilliard. They will be members of the Division 2/3 Green team.
