Brodhead-Juda pitcher Evan Senobe announced Thursday, Nov. 23 his commitment to continue his academic and baseball careers at UW-River Falls. Senobe “always had aspirations to continue (his) education after high school” and playing collegiate baseball “has always been a dream of (his).” After visiting River Falls this fall, Senobe knew “it was the right place for (him)” based on its “diverse range of majors” and “top-notch athletic facility.” In June, UW-River Falls announced it would reinstate baseball after discontinuing the sport in 2002 in an effort to attract and retain students. Senobe earned honorable mention recognition for the 2023 season, throwing 56 2/3 innings with 64 strikeouts. He posted a 6-3 record with a 2.10 ERA.
