Yvonne Rose, age 76, of Monroe passed away on Monday, September 12, 2022 at her home.  She was born the daughter of Ervin and Ethel (Ruch) Broge on September 25, 1945 in Monroe. 

 Yvonne married Merwyn Rose on July 2, 1981 in Reno, Nevada.  She worked throughout the Monroe area at Dorman Cheese, Swiss Chalet, Alphorn Motel, Super 8, and the Credit Bureau.  She was also a cross country team semi driver with Merwyn.  Yvonne enjoyed diamond painting, crocheting, playing Farkel, doing puzzles, playing board games, watching daytime soap operas, and country music.    

Yvonne is survived by her husband, Merwyn; son, Tim Broge of Darlington; step-children, Gloria (Garry) Segner of Monroe, Ken (Terri) Rose of Winslow, Wayne (Laurie) Rose of Monroe, and Carol (John) Steckelberg of Montana; grandson, Ari Broge; several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sister, Cindy (Dave) Roessler.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Todd Allan; 2 brothers, Wayne and Dean; sister, Gwen Elert Broge; and daughter-in-law, Angie Broge. 

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, September 25, 2022 at 1:00 PM at SHRINER HAGER GOHLKE Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Hayworth officiating.  Burial will take place at Oneco Cemetery at a later date.
