Peggi S. Hauser, age 63 of Monroe passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2026 at the SSM Health Hospital. She was born on September 30, 1962 the daughter of Ronald and Sheri (Leatherwood) Butts. Peggi attended Neosho High School. On April 3, 1982 Peggi married Greg Hauser. Peggi worked as a waitress and in retail sales most of her life. She enjoyed crocheting, reading, drawing, and going to auctions.

Peggi is survived by her husband of 44 years Greg; children, Michael Campbell of Monroe, Adam (Katherine) Hauser of Monticello, Brittani (Tim) Fidler of Browntown, and Jessica (Robert) Duncan of Springfield, MO; five grandchildren; siblings, Darci Burreson, Lesli (Hollye) Piercy, and Ben Tester.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ronald Butts, sister, Kelli Runke; and step-father, Drayton Piercy.

A Celebration of Peggi’s Life will be held at a later date.
