Paul Myron Jeglum, 80 years, passed away on Oct 28, 2015. He was the husband of Shirley Henderson Jeglum who preceded him in death. They were married 35 years.

Born in Blanchardville, Wisconsin, Paul was the son of Myron and Ruth Jeglum. He attended Monroe High School and graduated in 1953. He attended and graduated from the University of Wisconsin with a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering, University of Michigan with a Masters degree in Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering and Mississippi State University with a PHD in Aeronautical Engineering.

Paul joined the Air Force in 1958. He attended pilot training in Moultrie, GA and Greenville, MS. He attended Test Pilot School, instructed at the Test Pilot School, Director of Safety and Director of the Air Launched Cruise Missile Combined Test Force at Edwards Air Force Base, CA. Paul proudly served his country as an OV-10 Pilot in Vietnam. He was current in multiple military aircraft including the T-28, T-33, T-38, B-57, B-66, U-3, U-6, U-10, O-2, OV-10, F-86, F-101, F-104, F-106, F-4, A-7. He received many military awards during his 27 year career. After retiring from the Air Force, Paul worked for General Dynamics in San Diego, CA and later Hughes Aircraft Company in Tucson, AZ.

Paul loved airplanes, cars and anything that went fast! He will be remembered for his corny puns, big smile and awesome laugh. He is survived by his children Paul (Mark) Jeglum, Karen (Jeglum) Pettyjohn and Jill Jeglum. His brothers John Jeglum and Robert Jeglum. Grandkids Ian Tyler Jeglum, Lauren (Jeglum) Miles, Dillon Pettyjohn, McKensie Pettyjohn, Delanie Pettyjohn, John Hadden, Carrie Hadden and Great Granddaughter, Alexandria Mae Miles. He is predeceased by Shirley Jeglum, 1992.

Memorial and Internment with Full Military Honors will be held at the South Florida National Cemetery on November 2, 2018 at 2 PM followed by a family gathering in Jupiter, Florida.
