Laurel “Laurie” L. Teasdale, age 53 of Monroe, died Wednesday, June 26, 2024 surrounded by family and loved ones at SSM Monroe Hospital. She was born on April 8, 1971 in Amherst, Ohio, the daughter of Berry and Juanita (Bivens) Parker. She graduated from Monroe High School and Blackhawk Tech to receive her CNA License. Laurie married Matthew Teasdale on December 30, 1995 in Monroe. Laurie worked as a CNA at an Assisted Living center in Belleville; and she enjoyed horses.

She is survived by her husband Matt Teasdale; children, Natasha (Gottlieb Brandli III) Teasdale, Alyssa (Brent) Isely, Kaya Teasdale, Dana Teasdale, and Tristan Teasdale; grandson, Gottlieb Brandli IV; mother, Juanita Walker; brothers, Berry Parker Jr., Eugene Parker, and Daniel Parker; sisters, Leanna Larimore, Jo Parker, Cathy (Ron) McDaniel, Teresa Rush, and Gerri Renee (Randy) Baily; parents-in-law, Patrick and Patricia Teasdale; and special pet, Iris.

She was preceded in death by her father, Berry Parker; brother, Jesse Parker, and sister, Nan Kruger.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at 7:00 PM at Shriner Hager Gohlke Funeral Home.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday from 3:00 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home.  Condolences may be sent to the family at: shriner111.com. 

In lieu of flowers memorials can be given in Laurie’s name to the Green County Humane Society.
