Kenneth J. Sedbrook, age 88, of Monroe passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2024 at Azura Memory Care.  He was born on May 30, 1936 the son of Clarence and Margaret (Wanezek) Sedbrook Sr. He graduated from Lancaster High School.  Kenneth then went on to get his bachelors degree in AG from the UW Platteville and then his masters in Vocational Education from UW Madison.  On February 15, 1958 Kenneth married Bette Roesselet in Boscobel, WI. 

Kenneth was an AG teacher in Juda from 1966-1972.  He then went on to be the Vocational Director for several area high schools from 1972-1996.  Kenneth was a member of St. Victor’s Catholic Church and a former member of the Moose Lodge.  He enjoyed golfing, going for drives, traveling, and dinner theater.  For a short time, Kenneth also had a hobby farm he enjoyed.  His biggest joy in life was his children, grandchildren, and his family felt the same way about him. 

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Bette of Monroe; children, Tammy (Rick Robare) Guptill of Roscoe, IL, Terry (Diane) Sedbrook of Brodhead, John (Jennifer) Sedbrook of Bloomington, IL, and Lisa (Dale) Veer of Coon Rapids, MN; six grandchildren; sister, Janis Roesch of Potosi; and sister-in-law, Virginia Sedbrook of Dubuque, IA.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Clarence Sedbrook Jr.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, July 22, 2024 at St. Clare of Assisi Parish at St. Victor Catholic Church at 1:00 PM.  Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. 

A visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the church.  Shriner Hager Gohlke Funeral Home is assisting the family.  Condolences may be sent to the family at: shriner111.com.

The family would like to thank the staff at Aster, Azura, and Agrace Hospice for the wonderful care they showed Kenneth.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Kenneth’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association of Wisconsin.
