Tana L. Myers, age 71, of Fort Myers, Florida, (formerly Monroe, WI), died on Monday, February 10, 2025 in Hope Hospice care after a courageous battle with an aggressive liver cancer that had spread. Tana was born on December 23, 1953 in Monroe, the daughter of Russell and Edith West. Tana was a graduate of Monroe High School. She worked many jobs during her early years supporting her children. She was most proud of her last job as Payment Processor for the Monroe Clinic. May 18, 2002 she married the love of her life, James Myers. Tana and James moved to Fort Myers Florida in 2006. Tana loved living in Florida but also enjoyed her visits back to Monroe to be with her family, friends and her grandchildren. She loved all her grandchildren very much. Tana enjoyed boating, fishing in the Gulf of Mexico, camping, traveling and many cruises. She was an avid Green Bay Packer fan and Wisconsin Badger Football and Basketball fan.  

She will be dearly missed by her husband, James Myers of Fort Myers, Florida, formerly Monroe, her children, Shane Rabe, Shawna Rabe and Correy Hartwick (Kandi), her step children, Justin Myers, Erin (Brad) Lee and Amy (Jeff) Hanson, Brothers, Rocky L (Jackie) West of Killeen, Tx, Terry D (Heather) West, Rochelle, Il, Nieces, Wendy J (Robert) West Infelise, Willow Springs, Il, Trisha L. West (Jason Virkkala) Hutto,TX, Muffi (Denton) Anderson, River Falls, Wi, Nephew, Scott (Paula) West, Madison, Wi, Grandchildren, Collin Hartwick, Delaney Hartwick, Brynlee Hartwick, Bryant Hartwick and Frederick Rabe, step-grand children Ava Bauman, Jayden Hanson, Ali Jo Hanson, Brayden Lee,  Danica Lee and Zack Blackwood.

 

A celebration of life is being planned for this summer.
