Two-motorcycle crash prompts life-flight call

MONROE — Four riders were hurt in a two-motorcycle crash just before noon Sunday, Sept. 1.

According to reports, deputies and Green County EMS were called to the W3700 block of Wis. 11 at 11:57 Sunday, in the Town of Sylvester, for a report of a crash.

“Investigations found that a motorcycle operated by Richard E Raciborski, 62, of Chicago had collided with the side of another motorcycle operated by Joseph E O’Connor, 57, of Lombard (IL) causing both riders to lose balance and crash,” the Green County Sheriff’s Office said, in a statement. “O’Connor and his passenger Jennifer D Geiger, 57, of Addison (IL) both sustained injuries as a result and were transported for their injuries.”

Raciborski and his passenger, Beatriz Vega-Raciborski, 47, of Chicago, both sustained injuries and were transported to a hospital for their injuries. 

Both motorcycles were towed from the scene.
