Police have no updates on bank robbery

MONROE - Representatives of the Monroe Police Department had no updates Friday on their investigation into the robbery of Associated Bank in Monroe on Thursday afternoon. The suspect, an unknown white male estimated to be in his 30s, remains at large.

The man was recorded by security cameras Thursday afternoon entering the Monroe Associated Bank and demanding an undisclosed amount of money from the teller. The teller later reported that the man implied that he was in possession of a weapon, but never revealed one.

The man fled the scene on foot after obtaining the money.
