PD to host speaker on crimes against children

DARLINGTON - The Darlington Police Department will be hosting a guest speaker from the Wisconsin Department of Justice's Internet Crimes Against Children task force at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 10, in the large group room at the Darlington Elementary-Middle School.

Adults who have regular contact with children and teens are especially urged to attend to learn about current trends in risky internet use by young people.

The presentation will last about 45 minutes and will be followed by a 45-minute question and answer session and discussion on some internet crimes that have occurred in Darlington.
