Green County Sheriff's Dept. seeks tips in burglary case

MONROE - The Green County Sheriff's Department is seeking the public's input to solve a burglary that occurred early Wednesday morning in Browntown.

Several firearms and various types of ammunition were taken around 1 a.m. from a home in the 300 block of East South Street. The burglary was reported later the same day at about 8 p.m.

"It appears it is an isolated incident," said Lt. Kari Phillips. As of Thursday afternoon, she said there were no suspects.
