Green County Sheriff

MONROE - Craig A. Busch, 35, New Glarus, hit a deer at 5:59 a.m. Friday on County W, between Argue and Christen Road. There was moderate front-end vehicle damage to the vehicle but it was driven from the scene.

- No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle accident at 7:11 p.m. Friday on County M, south of County B, in the Town of Cadiz. Reports indicate that Lien T. Polizzi, 55, Browntown, was southbound on County M when she hit a deer. There was minor damage to her vehicle and it was driven from the scene.

- No injuries were reported during a one-vehicle accident at 5:10 a.m. Saturday in the W5700 block of County H in the Town of New Glarus. Reports indicate that Jacqueline J. Hudson, 55, Monroe, was eastbound on County H when she hit a deer. The vehicle had moderate damage and was driven from the scene.

- Deputies located a vehicle accident at 11:40 a.m. Saturday on Stauffacher Road, near Woodridge Road, with no one at the scene. Reports indicate that that Daniel R. Bald, 22, Darlington, arrived on the scene a short time later. Bald said he had been eastbound on Stauffacher Road when he lost control of his vehicle and hit a culvert, coming to rest on the side of the road. All airbags deployed and there was moderate to severe damage to the undercarriage. It was towed from the scene. Bald suffered an injury but declined medical treatment. Bald was cited for open intoxicants, failure to maintain control of a vehicle and failure to notify police of accident. Bald was released.

Lafayette County Sheriff

DARLINGTON - No injures were reported during a one-vehicle accident at 1:13 p.m. Saturday on Wis. 81 in the Town of Argyle. Reports indicate that Brett E. Bergan, 43, Darlington, was westbound on Wis. 81 when he crossed the centerline and went into an embankment where he hit a tree. There was moderate damage to the vehicle. Bergan was cited for no insurance and a seatbelt violation.

- Michael A. Horst, 18, Cuba City, reported hitting a deer at 12:36 a.m. Sunday on Berry Road in the Town of Darlington.

- Patricia J. Stauffacher, 62, Darlington, reported hitting a deer at 8:14 p.m. Sunday on Wis. 81 in the Town of Darlington.
