DARLINGTON - On Tuesday:
• One person was injured in a one-vehicle accident reported at 5:22 p.m. on U.S. 151, Town of Belmont. Gregory L. Trollop, 28, Mineral Point, was northbound when his 1999 Jetta hydroplaned and struck a bridge. The Jetta was severely damaged and towed. The Belmont Police Department, Mineral Point Ambulance and Mineral Point Fire Department assisted deputies at the scene.
• Bradley F. Whitford, 35, Darlington, was cited for second-offense operating while intoxicated and for not having a valid motorcycle license after deputies responded at 10:05 p.m. to a report of a motorcycle accident with injuries on Wisconsin 78, Town of Gratiot. Whitford was northbound when he lost control on a corner, traveled into the ditch and then back onto the road and the motorcycle on its side. His 1996 Harley-Davidson was severely damaged and towed. The Gratiot Fire Department, Gratiot First Response and Rural Medical Ambulance assisted at the scene.
