Sally Ann Kundert, age 76 of Monroe, died Tuesday, June 10, 2008 at U.W. Hospital in Madison following a short illness. Sally was born April 9, 1932 in Freeport, IL, the daughter of Charles and Ida (Zurbriggen) LaBorde. She graduated from Orangeville High School in 1950 and married Russell R. Kundert on July 28, 1951 at the Orangeville Methodist Church.

Sally farmed with her husband in Jefferson Township for many years and they have wintered in Texas since retiring in 1990.

She loved spending time with her family, making porcelain dolls, collecting cows and teapots, gardening, and planting flowers.

Survivors include her husband, Russell R. Kundert of Monroe; a son, Jeffrey (Dawn) Kundert of Mt. Horeb, WI; two grandchildren, Josh Seibel of Mt. Horeb, and Kimber Seibel of Brookings, S.D.; and two sisters, Florence Evans of Freeport and Alfreda Rusk of Seneca S.C.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her daughter, Kim A. Kundert on June 30, 1996; and three brothers, Jack, Dick, and Robert LaBorde.

Private family services will be held at the NEWCOMER FUNERAL HOME in Monroe with burial in Calvary Cemetery, Monroe. Memorials in Sally's name may be given to Susan G.
