Robert "Bob" Charles Feller

Robert "Bob" Charles Feller, 74, of The Villages, Florida, passed away April 6, 2008, at his home. He was born March 26, 1934 in Monticello, Wisconsin, son of Robert A. and Rose Fahrney Feller. He graduated from Monticello High School in 1952 and played on the school's baseball and basketball teams, for the New Glarus baseball team in the Home Talent League, for the Swiss Lanes softball team, and other local softball and baseball teams. Bob was a charter member of the Edelweiss Chalet Country Club and loved golfing, bowled in leagues at the Swiss Lanes bowling alley for many years, was an avid Badger fan, and pulled on the Washington Huskies and Monroe Truck Equipment tug-of-war teams. He served on the Monticello Village Board for six years. Bob farmed in the Monticello area before retiring to The Villages, Florida in 2000, where Bob and his wife Wanda lived a dream of warm weather, year round golf, and many other activities. He enjoyed showing all of the area to visitors from the north.

Bob is survived by his wife of 54 years, Wanda (nee Gaarder) Feller; sons Tom (Anita) and Tim (Wanda); grandchildren, Brenda and Bryon (Melody); great-granddaughter, Olivia Rose; brother, Richard (Eileen); and sister, Roberta (Robert) Everson.

He was well liked, was much loved by his family, and will be missed by everyone who knew him.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 12, 2008 at the Washington Reformation Church, N6026 Church Rd., Monticello, WI, the Pastor Mary Gafner officiating with burial in Highland Cemetery, Monticello.
