Patricia Catherine Hogan Davitt

Patricia Catherine Hogan Davitt, 85, passed away in Palm Desert, California on July 5th. She was the daughter of William H and Alice O'Donnell Hogan.

Patricia graduated from Monroe High School in 1946, after which she received her bachelor's and master's degrees as an educator and speech therapist who worked with hearing impaired students. Later in her career she became the director of the program for the hearing impaired of San Mateo County.

On July 10th, 2002 Pat married Delbert Davitt. Delbert preceded her in death shortly before their 10th wedding anniversary.

Pat was also preceded in death by her parents, her sisters Ann, in infancy, and Mary, and her brother William.

Pat is survived by her nieces Julie Frie and Suzanne (Todd) Meier and, her great nieces and nephews, Abby and Alex Kennison and Aaron and Vanessa Meier and her sister-in-law, Karen Hogan.

Graveside services will be held at the Riverside National Cemetery in Riverside, California on Monday, July 15th. Arlington Mortuary is assisting the family. Condolences and memories may be sent to Arlington Mortuary.com.
